The design rationale for this thesis is systematic in terms of layout structure and environmentally conscious in relation to the main context. The cover is made of acrylic board which imitates a piece of the building material while hand sewing binding represents human intervention and natural approach. The content of the book is made of recycled and handmade paper which addresses sustainability in both thesis contents and production. The layout grid is diverse but organised which illustrates a notion of modern architecture such as minimalism in composition and exceptional structural pattern. Accomplished with elements of wood and organic paper, the design of the thesis transmits a sense of texture through visual appearance and physical interaction.
